About the Mission
I work to help you feel at peace with your finances by being intentional with every dollar you own so that you can use your business to free up your time for what matters most.
Here’s the problem.
Maybe you’re living paycheck-to-paycheck. Or you’re in debt up to your eyeballs. Or you’re hustling away all your energy into a business that isn’t paying you back.
Or all of the above. That’s normal too.
Why is this normal?
How on earth did we get to the point where overdrafting bank accounts and “being in debt until I die” has become synonymous with “adulting?”
If this is the new normal, I want nothing to do with it.
Here’s the solution.
If we want to live differently from everyone else, it’s time to do things differently.
You’re done settling for less.
You’re done being comfortable with debt.
You’re done wondering where the money has gone.
You’re going to do things differently. You’re going to do things that work.
Stop settling. Dream bigger. Believe that you can do MORE WITH your MONEY.

And always learning more!
Intention - We should all strive to live intentionally! Intentional management of our resources - time, money, energy, etc - is how we achieve our definitions of success. I help others do this through healthy money management.
Peace - I don’t believe money is a wartime enemy to be “conquered” or a game to be played or manipulated. I believe money is a resource that makes the world go ‘round and it should be valued (though not idolized) accordingly. Cultivate a peaceful relationship with money by treating it like a friend!
Debt-Freedom - Debt shackles us and makes us dependent on others who don’t have our best interests at heart. I want you to get out of debt and stay out of debt, which means a renewed commitment to cash flow.
Entrepreneurship - I love business. And I love what online business can do for us! I believe in the power of entrepreneurship to help women like us find work that lights us up and frees up our time and energy for the things we value most.
Stewardship - I believe we are to be responsible stewards of the money we’ve been blessed with. It’s not guaranteed, it’s not to be idolized, and it’s not to be held with a closed fist. We are to provide for ourselves and our families AND we are to give back and nurture others.
Crazy Fact: I have a non-existent credit score! My husband and I live credit free and love the freedom and empowerment that it brings. And while we are passionate about helping others see that it is possible to live cash-only, we also understand that it’s a personal lifestyle commitment. I’ll show you how I do it if you’re curious, but I will never force it onto you!

10-ISH things about me:
My name is Katie Scott. It's actually Katharine with an 'a' after the 'h' because my mom liked how Katharine Hepburn spelled it, but no one ever gets it right. I don’t go by my full name because I feel like it implies a mature, responsible adult.
I've lived in Florida all my life. It's hot, people drive bad, and it's a great place to live. I might go to the beach once a year, but I don’t even really like beaches. 🙈
I married my college sweetheart, Michael, on May 20, 2017. (Yes, that means I'm married to a Michael Scott. Shout out to fans of The Office, but… I've never watched it. Sorry. 😬)
I was a double major and earned my B.S. in Accounting and Finance despite the fact that learning about money was always really hard for me. For some reason I felt called to either challenge or torture myself, so I powered through! (Now I know it was so I could help entrepreneurs like you!) Made it with honors, too. 😉
I have an obsessive-addictive-fanatic personality. When I come across something new I love, I dive deep. So I watch movies on endless repeat, I listen to Pentatonix songs until I memorize every sound (even though I have zero ability to sing), I’ll dedicate 72 strong hours to a video game (and then abandon it out of nowhere), I’ll spend obnoxious amounts of money on new hobbies (which is what got me into budgeting), and so, so, SO much more. It’s a blessing and a curse.
My three main food groups are Chocolate, Chicken Wings, and Sweet Tea. This is not a fitness blog.
I have a borderline unhealthy love for all dogs. (My dog is a Shih Tzu/Chihuahua mix and his name is Flash. You will see many pictures of him around because he's the most adorable creature to walk the earth.)
I love to learn, but I’ll choose Young Adult Fantasy books over business genres any day of the week. I’d guess that 85% of the many books that I own are YA, and I’m not ashamed.
I'm half-Taiwanese, but I only like rice sometimes and I use chopsticks as well as an earthworm would.
RANDOM THINGS I LOVE: Sharpie pens, Megamind, Star Wars, making mini-food-plushies, tactical knives, hot sauce, Miyazaki movies, Avatar the Last Airbender, Stardew Valley, mountains, Pepsi, Prague, fluffy carpets, overusing the 😂 emoji, and the word "penultimate."
